WS Medical firmly believes that our success is not simply down to the management team's work, but that it is everyone involved in our company from contractors to clients, we simply could not do what we do without the help and support of those around us.

Meet our hardworking team

Mathew Woodhead

Managing Director

Mathew is one of the founders of WS Medical and comes with a range of skills and experience from event management and planning within the voluntary medical sector. Also working for the statutory ambulance services brings knowledge and "On the road" experience to the company.

Mathew is also a Qualified Manual Handling, Conflict Resolution, Fire Safety and Health and Safety Instructor. Holding the Diploma in Education, CAVA and IQA Qualifications.

Christopher Scargill

Director

Chris, currently studying the Physician Associate role at Bradford University joins the team at WS Medical as a Director.

Chris also comes from the voluntary services and has worked on ambulances both in a frontline and event capacity. Chris brings a range of knowledge and skills from his degree in Biomedical Sciences helping the company and business to understand how we can reduce cross contamination and ensure our infection prevention and control is at the highest standard it can be.

Katherine Sewell

Registered Nurse

Katherine joins WS Medical as a RGN working in the community, bringing over 15 years of first aid and event expereince coupled together with community based nursing helps to provide a balanced approach to patient care.

Katherine will often be seen managing and organising out treatment areas to ensure that they can opperate efficently and in an organsied manner should anyone need our assisstance.

  • First Aid At Work (FAW) First Aiders
  • First Responders
  • First Person On Scene or FREC 3 First Responders
  • NHS/Private Emergency Care Assistants
  • IHCD Ambulance Technicians or Associate Ambulance Practitioners
  • Miller Technicians
  • State Registered Paramedics
  • NMC Registered Nurses
